Materialization and Surface Treatment
Objects are designed to blend into the surrounding environment as simple forms, using high-quality durable materials and traditional architectural solutions. The aim is for the objects not to impose a burden, but certainly to define the space entirely, in a manner demanded by the previously built structures in the vicinity. Both in design and materialization, the facades are resolved to visually integrate harmoniously into the surrounding environment, i.e., adjacent structures. The intended material for the facade treatment is acrylic-toned textured structure in white color, with the ground floor made of natural stone, and glass surfaces in aluminum frames.
Facade walls
The structure of the building is reinforced concrete, with facade walls made of reinforced concrete panels and 20 cm thick hollow blocks. The exterior walls of the ground floor are clad with natural cut stone. Thermal insulation is done using styrofoam with a maximum density of 5 cm thickness. The final finish is an acrylic-toned textured structure in white color.
Decorative elements
An reinforced concrete molding has been installed, fitting into the treatment of the rear panel of the flat non-walkable roof, as well as on the ground floor of the building. Decorative styrofoam templates have been placed around the window openings.
Roof
Flat roofs made of reinforced concrete panels with appropriate hydro and thermal protection are planned over the building.
Metalwork
External openings are planned to be made of PVC and aluminum with thermal break and glazed with insulating 'termoton' glass. As sun protection, roller shutters in the color of the metalwork are planned for all windows and balcony doors. Internal doors are planned to be made of wood.
Balcony railings
The railings are made of steel, with a simple design, in a matte black color, and a height of 1.2m.
Gutters
Water drainage from the roofs is done through gutters and aluminum downspouts.
Protection from excessive exposure to the sun
All windows and balcony doors within residential units are equipped with blinds, matching the color of the metalwork.
Technical description of energy efficiency
The building is designed to ensure high energy efficiency through the use and proper installation of quality materials, waterproofing, and thermal insulation. Its facade walls provide effective thermal insulation, as well as the ceiling of the top floor. A well-insulated building consumes less energy for heating in winter and cooling in summer. Heat loss and energy consumption per square meter directly impact both energy consumption and the longer lifespan of the building. These considerations have led to a special focus on the selection and quality installation of materials in the design and construction of buildings, aiming for more efficient energy savings. Daylight is used for space illumination, along with effective ventilation and cooling. Efficient sun protection, flexibility, and adaptability for future changes are also implemented
